This Halloween we were up north for Madilyn's blessing - which made things super fun showing off our little "Pumpkin, Madi-Cat".

Halloween is a special holiday for us because it was our 1st date.
5 years ago Chad swept me off my feet on the oh-so-romantic date of going to see Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Yes it was a magical date ... I hid under my jacket for two hours listening to the slashing and screaming and then we had to watch 2 Disney movies to get it out of my head...
(Not every story has to start out of the gate romantic- don't judge.)
So every year to celebrate that first date Chad brings home a bouquet of beautiful roses with a card/letter and we go out on a Halloween date.
This year we went to our favorite resteraunt in Salt Lake - Rio Grande and had fun shopping trip at the Gateway.

Ha that is so cute/funny about your first date, how did I not know this?!? You should totally post a pic of Madi in her blessing gown, sorry again we couldn't make it.
